In a nutshell what these people say is that the emphasis should not be in dieting for weight loss as this is not that relevant in relation to health but in having healthy habbits and to what extent this is crucial

- Increase consumption of fruit and vegs avoid processed foods and sugar added food and drinks

- Exercise

- Reduce alcohol consumption.

- Stop smoking.

We all know that we should do this four things but because they are simple sometimes they are overlooked. If you stick to that you can stop counting calories and follow diets that make you drink horrible things in the morning.

Hopes that helps, it is helping me just to have to remember those things instead of diets that are so complicated that you need to take an encyclopedia to the kitchen.

I still don't think it's helpful to post these sort of videos. There is plenty of advice from reputable sites like the BHF on healthy eating . Can nobody read anymore?

Lustig is not just anti added sugar, which anyone would agree with, but an LCHF guru - what a surprise!

I will put my hands up - I can read! 😁 But I will type slowly in case there any slow readers! 😁

Joking apart I have not watched either film yet. Is it Lustig and LCHF?

Tbf, up to the point I watched there was no mention of any current book but a general mention of "my book".

Losing weight can be the focus if that is what the medical advice is. Some advice is that too much healthy food can also not be good and any diet does have to suit a particular medical condition.
