Phlebitis

I was recently diagnosed with phlebitis after complaining of severe muscle pain in my left thigh.

Because of the medication I take, my GP couldn't prescribe anything for me to take in oral form but gave me some gel to rub on the affected area.

The pain is really bad on standing but doesn't affect me when I am sitting or lying down.

Has anybody else suffered with this and if so how long did it take to go and is there anything I can do to help myself.

On a scale of 1 to 10, the pain is 11.....

A friend of my mother developed this and swore by black molasses she got at Heath and Heather. Sugar content might be an issue for those with diabetes but loads of vitamins and minerals.

Thank you. I have never heard of this but will definitely look into the benefits.
