Chest pain & palpitations

Last week during a driving lesson i suddenly felt a sharp stabbing pain in my chest that came out of nowhere I then had two palpitations and then the pain went. I have been to see my GP today and she doesn’t know what it could have been and has contacted my cardiologist as she thinks it’s a good idea for me to have a loop recorder. I didn’t feel dizzy or faint during the episode. Has anyone experienced anything similar? (The DVLA know about my heart condition and it’s safe for me to drive)
