Heart Rate Change on Entresto

Hi Just a question

Anyone on Entresto found that their Heart Beats have changed on this Medication. I have had Multiple Ectopic Beats even to the extent of being considered for Ablation. On Multiple Holter Monitors it showed I had thousands of Ectopic Beats, Bigeminy and Trigeminy etc.Cardiologist wrote " this patient has a High Burden of Ectopic Beats " so I didn't imagine them lol.

So they have disappeared after a long time of Ectopics, I have gone from lying awake at night listening to them I now just get Thump1 Thump2 not Thump 1 Thump2 Miss one or two Thump1 Thump2 it's weird after years. I am not complaining in fact I am quite ecstatic, easily pleased !!!

BP is reasonable 115/58 Pulse is around 60 which is a lot better than what it was. Still on 7.5mg Bisoprolol wonder what my pulse would be not on Bisoprolol. I am not going to stop taking it just to find out !! Really interested in any ones opinion before I phone my Heart Nurse to ask her what's going on !

I’m on Entreso and noticed no difference whatsoever

I have a lot of ectopic beats. On bisoprolol 5mg as well candestartan and eplerenone for heart failure. My pulse is slow, down to 40 at rest. My heart function has improved significantly in the last year, since diagnosis, on these drugs. EF up from 30 to 35 to low 50s. However the ectopic beats are still there. I've just been told to keep up the current meds, keep active and cut out caffeine.

Hi Prada47. I have just been increased to 97/103mg. Experiencing consistent ectopic beats for the past 3 days. Also feeling slightly lightheaded. I have a CRT-d implanted and i am also on 5mg of Bisoprolol. Hopefully these side effects dissipate soon. I'm 32 and very active person. This is definitely been a kick in the teeth for me. I see my nurse in another 4 weeks so I will grin and bear it until then.

I spoke with my Heart Nurse today and mentioned Ectopic Beats have subsided. Response was " Good it looks like Entresto is Re Modelling your Heart " It's about 5 months to my next Echocardiogram then we shall see. Had blood tests today in anticipation of moving 97/103 also looking at Iron levels may be need an infusion !!

BP today was 124/68 pulse 65 she was very pleased with those, still on 7.5 Bisoprolol and 25mg Eplernerone along with Asprin and Statin
