5 Months after a HA/stents gone through various phases, wonder how long before I am "normal" again.

My current phase is gastic reflux sometimes lasting hours, chest pains and sleep less nights.

I know everyone is different, but wondered about the timescale others had experienced, if they can remember.

Spoke recently to a cardiac nurse on the phone, the best comunicator by far and she said after 6 months the body is still adapting.

I am 10 weeks out from 2 stents (no damage) and behind your timeline but don’t feel normal. I have more energy but still have strange chest pains off and on and turmoil in my gut after taking Ticagrelor and aspirin. Rantadine 300mg twice a day has been added to the meds list but I took no meds prior to the stents and I am hoping at 6 months when the Ticagrelor is stopped that things will improve. It is reassuring to read other’s posts of recovery periods of 6 months to a year.

I discovered a more serious problem yesterday, my weight loss has continued. Pre HA I weighed a fairly normal 86kg, reasonable for a 6 foot (1.83m) male.

That dropped to 75kg after 1 month or so and seemed to level out, then 2 weeks ago it dropped to 72, then on Friday weighed my self and shock 67kg. My physical appearance is pretty shocking and depressing.

I am trying to get sugned up to a GP to get a blood test as my last cholesterol results were dangeruosly low.

The shock fo losing another 5kg came at the time I had gone away for the Vegan/no oil diet to including more convensional foods like fish, meat, chicken.

Anyone else have a problem with unwanted weight loss?
