I have just been prescribed losartan. When is the best time to take it? My chemist said it should be taken in the morning, but I read that it can be taken any time of day.

It's really up to you, side effects are pretty zero. I take 25mg in morning with breakfast.

Losartan has a relatively short half-life. It is therefore usually prescribed in the morning so the largest effect on your BP will be during the day when you are more likely to become stressed. If this is a problem you should discuss it with your GP.

I take losartan 100mg in the morning as that’s what my doctor advised

I’ve been prescribed 50g in morning, 25g in evening.
