Coronary spasm
Hello Goldenheart
Welcome to the forum
I am sorry to hear that you are living with the uncertainty and bewilderment of Microvascular and vasospastic angina.
I have lived with coronary vasospastic angina causing microvascular angina and coronary artery spasms for 7 years.
They are poorly recognised and understood conditions. Most people have either MVA or vasospastic angina aka coronary artery spasms Printzmetal/ variant angina a few both.
It is encouraging that your Cardiologist is aware of the conditions many are not.
It is really important to establish a good relationship with your Cardiologist as it can take time to find the right combination of medications that will work best for you.
The BHF has the following information about MVA and VSA which you may find helpful.

There are quite a few of us on the forum and I am sure the others will chip in with their experience too.
New sudden symptoms can be very unsettling.
Just when I thought I was dealing pretty well with my heart problems (including MVD) I suddenly got AFibrillation. After some (not huge) exertion, like a bit of gardening, I was going all breathless, dizzy and unable to walk or talk. It was different to anything I’d had before (I’m familiar with Microvessel effects) and Ambulance was able to catch the ECG, so there was no doubt. Apparently it’s pretty common in the over 75s.
Increase in pills now seems to be helping.
