You are not alone. I have had it and still recovering. from what I have worked out the length of recovery time is different for every one but lots of people o have spoken to do fully recover. Big advice I would give you right now and the advice I hated is REST I didn't at first and got much worse!!!!! Any questions just ask and I will tell you what I know.

Do you know what I can do with a diagnosed myocarditis and a troponin level of 2573 ? I think I am dying.

Are you in hospital? Listen to your body, it takes a long time to heal but you will get there if you rest. My triponin was at 40,000 never seen someone look as worried as the Dr who came to me after he had seen that! Lol. 8 months later my MRI scan says there is just a scar to my heart I'm a very lucky girl. I still get chest pain now but not as bad as before and the exhaustion has gone, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Everyone is different with recovery times and damage but just have it in your mind the myocarditis will get better! I spoke to people who made a full recovery. Hope this helps x

Hi, I've just been diagnosed. The initial diagnostic MRI seems to show some scarring. Just wondered how you're all getting on now? And if when I have my repeat MRI in ~3-6months there is a possibility of the scarring healing/going away and just getting back to my old self!
