Lovely to see you back here with your polls Chloe. ❤️

My family don’t understand my long-term autoimmune condition, mostly because it’s the old chestnut of ‘you don’t look ill’. I’d love them to understand my condition and to make allowances for my autoimmune fatigue and the joint pain that means I can’t do everything they can to. You can’t see fatigue or joint pain, so there’s no understanding or consideration. It’s the same for so many people though, and I feel for them.

Wishing all the lovely contributors and members a lovely Christmas and all the very best for 2025. xx

Hi Ladybird25

So lovely to hear from you!

I’ve come to learn a bit about your condition as I have a friend who has this distressing condition and my Mum had it too.

Really sorry that those around you don’t know more about it and you.

Wishing you some relief and cheer especially through Christmas, take care and don’t be a stranger x

Aww, thank you so much for your understanding Chloe. ❤️ I’m sure your friend really appreciates your support. I find that friends are often more understanding and supportive than family. I’m so sorry that your lovely mum also had it, bless her. 💕xx
