Our pets bring us much comfort but if you lost yours, would you home another?

I would be looking for another dog the same day Chloe just couldn`t live without one pets are more than just fur and four legs wouldn`t care if I needed to travel far to pick one up.

Always had pets up to about 10 years ago. But I don't think I am strong enough these days to cope with an emotional loss. It would finish me off.

Yes I’ve always had dogs then I had a gap of a few yrs where I was quite often abroad. Now at home with a very mischievous puppy 🤦‍♀️ He’s the best natured dog I’ve ever had but boy oh boy the work he brings!! Brings a lot of love & laughter as well 😊

Might do but I now have grandchildren, old dog grew up with, it'd be a risk to take on a new dog, esp the type I take from rescues - terriers. My youngest grandson is just 3yo and I find this age group can maul a dog so it's training the dog and the toddler to get along. With chronic illness to manage now it's hard to fit in all the walks a dog needs. A the moment I'm mourning our last dog who the vet had to put to sleep at nearly 15yo. He's only been away from us for a few weeks and the pain of his passing is still raw. It's likely I will take on another rescue terrier once my youngest grandchild is school age. Atm I miss my old dog terribly.
