My philosophy is that a seasonal change is good for a personal change. We have to change our habits and things to accommodate the change in weather. So I accept the change and move on.
I like to commemorate the change by visiting mum & dad. As well as the baby corner I like to visit our commonwealth graves to pay my respects. I like to take time out to relax when it's best for me on a Saturday evening. The most important thing is to meditate on what nature is telling us.
This year I took a step back from other peoples grief to focus on my own emotions and moving on. It's a slow time but the seasons teach us patience and so many other things.
I hope you are all doing well and looking forward to lots of hot soup to warm your spirits.
