Initially support from Maggie's for somewhere to weep. After that I wanted to be left alone.
Needed to talk.

I'm working on being well and it's good. This group just has my heart . it's a different kind of sad and once you experience it I guess you can always relate to it. It's always a comfort to visit this site. Pam
although my parents suffered loss of children and they could understand I think counselling probably gives us a platform to show our real emotions more.when it was my parents who died I had no one really no true friends or family offering anything apart from my sister.
At my age Kenster we heard a lot of 'it's time to move on". There was a one size fits all idea of grieving. Thank goodness we are getting past that.
yeah after my son died it really did break me I went to the doctor a few years later cant remember how many for a sick line and the doctor said why and I said depression/anxiety and he said what brought it on and I said about my son dying and how it made me feel ever since and he turned around and said are you still using that excuse I could have floored him I was that angry.
Yes Kenny kenster1
I think we have a need for different types of Bereavement Care, and I am for anything that helps the person whose is grieving to talk over their worries, pain and concerns.
