Birthdays and anniversaries are the worst especially this year being the first. Both birthday and angel anniversary are within a month of each other. Birthdays were particularly special and will be hard for our brother as my sister Jen and him were/are twins.
The day Don died is the worst, especially since he and our daughter died on the same day 30 years apart. I see the majority of us feel the same way. I still talk to him in my mind and in the morning when I am having my coffee outside. Then I talk out loud. It will always hurt. I miss him so. I am going in for cataract surgery and will have no one to stay with me that day. I am a wreck.
Auddonz (aka Audrey)
Dear Audrey, I remember some of your posts when Don was ill. I am now also a widow of nine weeks.
I will say some prayers for your operation and am sending you lots of hugs. Love Rx
That an awful thing to happen Auddonz I'm truly sorry to read this.
Talking to him is absolutely fine, so take comfort in that.
I'll be thinking about you and the cataract surgery Audrey, take care and chat soon.

For me, the worst time of year is May Day. it is the anniversary of three deaths, my husband, father and dog. Different years, but same day.
Oh Midori
That is just too much! so very sorry to read this, how awful for you.
Take care
