Are you 100%sure it's BV? I self treated what I thought was either BV or thrush for years. Even my GP didn't diagnose until I paid to see a specialist after 2 and a bit years of it driving me mad.... Turned out to be something totally different..

I think you should insist on seeing a specialist. It would be wrong to diagnose anything online. But don't assume it's BV or thrush for too long.

This is used in some clinics for recurrent BV. But as the other posters have said, the first step is to confirm that's what the problem is. It should be only used by a specialist in my opinion.
