No there is no association, unless the BV causes pelvic inflammatory disease , which can in some cases cause reduce fertility. Ensure there isn't an underlying cause for the BV, like chlamydia.

I had PID before aswell. I got a BV, PID and thrush all at once plus I had chlamydia aswell

The chlamydia almost definitely triggered the BV , and also was the cause of the PID. The chance of subfertility with one episode of chlamydia or PID is low , but multiple episodes greatly increase the risk. So before stopping using condoms with a new partner, make sure both people get tested . Most chlamydia is asymptomatic , so just because a guy has no symptoms, doesn't mean hes ok. I think full checks for both people in a new relationship in this day and age would be a reasonable course of action

Yeah Iv been with my partner for 4 months and at the beginning we got chlamydia but then he didn’t have any symptoms but I did so we both got checked and it came back positive it had now been 3 months so we have to do our second check and waiting for the tests now, but I have only had PID and chlamydia one time. We have been trying to conceive for 3 months now and it’s not working??!! I’m scared I can’t get pregnant. I Have also had an abortion when I was 16 so that was 3 years ago.

Don't worry . The average time to conceive for a couple is 8 months. Make sure you are taking folic acid . Its good you are having a repeat test . I am presuming your partner was screened and treated - even if his test was negative ( as there is a small false negative rate ). You are in your peak fertility years. NHS guidelines suggest seeing the GP after 1 year if you haven't conceived naturally so this give you an idea that three months is considered quite soon !

you are welcome and of course if you are still worried speak to your gp . Try to work out when your peak fertile time is in your cycle ( around days 14-16 ) . Remember the folic acid :-)
