Air purifier, humidifier, dehumidifier, etc

Do any of you use anything like an air purifier or humidifier or dehumidifier in asthmatic children's bedrooms? Or anything else?

I'm clutching at straws, willing to try anything to help my daughter, she can't go on like this, she's having 1to2 attacks per night
