Hi

Can anyone tell me if a medical certificate i issued for so many days, for example 8, of which two of those would be a weekend, do the weekend days count as part of the 8?

To clarify, if on a Monday issued certificate for 8 days would that be the five working days of that week and the three of next, so return to work on Thursday or back to work on the following Tuesday if it includes weekend?

Hi,

I have always taken the days to mean weekends too so you would need to return to work on the tuesday. presuming of course you are fit to return.
