After viral chest infection contracted November still have coughing spasms producing green plegm.What can I do to help myself?

Have had CT scan and bronchoscopy partially collasped lung diagnosed will only see consultant in June

Keep warm and stay hydrated ... And can't remmber but is vitamin that helps .. Think it oranges or apple

Have you put a sputum sample in with your GP? it would help to know if there is an infection that needs antibiotics, it,s possible you mat have picked up a bug since your viral infection, hope you get it sorted soon. Karen

I agree with sillywitch the sounds like you have an infection and it won't go away on its own take a sputum sample in.

It seems an awfully long time to have to wait until June. Also not good to still be producing the glob. I hope you've sorted out some advice by now from the GP practice. If not call blf helpline asap. P
