It's the same for everybody fishtail, if you post something and then you decide you don't want to post it, e.g. spelling error or you have posted in the wrong place, you can delete it. Hope that makes sense. If you see a post and you think it is inappropriate you can report it.

The person who wrote the message is shown 'Delete' as they have that option. On the first post on a blog or question you can also Edit, but you cannot (yet) edit any replied you post.

When you view other people's messages you see 'report' as you cannot delete someone else's post.

That's why you may see some posts which have been deleted - I've done it myself. I reply to a message then spot an eroor and can't edit so it's quicker to highlight and copy what I had already put, paste that into a new reply, correct the misteak and delete the original. :D

You didn't spot one in your message then Gordon lol :-) You miss spelled the word error

it was a misteak - of course, there were two, both intended ;-)

sorry, I may be a bad speller myself, but please correct me if I am wrong but isn't it "mistake"? If I am right, you're going to hate me lmao

Yep, you're right - but eroor and misteak were put in on purpose 'cos I do silly things like that. :D
