Yes, well it would certainly be a quicker and helpful as abs could be started immediately.

I imagen that it would be wonderful for young ones (and there parents)that suffer from cystic fibrosis etc.

I think in a few years there will be enormous changes in medicine, maybe to late for us!! xx.

Hi Wendells, yes thought it was interesting, tho as you say it will be while before it is available for us humans, particularly as you mention those children with CF .And antibiotics? Are we supposed to use them less to prevent resistance building up?

Best try not to pick up an infection at all eh? Keeping well is the most significant way for me to manage my lung disorder.

By the way, my 3 times great grandfather died in 1854 in Geelong. His death cert. records that he died from low bronchitis !

Keep cool there Wendells, :-)

That was an interesting link Polly, ha Stitch's dog knew already, and actually I can "taste" the different infections that I've had over the years.

These days I try not to have antibiotics at all because they wipe out the immune system in the gut, have been using "food combining" and raw green juice for the last 3 years and my lung flute and it's working brilliant !!...only 2 lots of anti's in 3yrs, that's a first for me.

next time I get a bad lung infection I will ask for inhaled antibiotics... I will insist !.. the infection is in the lung so that's where I want it hit..
