Hello Goldpast,

I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Frightening news for anyone. I think that those of us who get these diseases actually cope better with them than those around us. We have to cope with the disease. They are thinking about losing us. Too often, we can end up supporting them. I do hope that your diagnosis has come early enough that you can be cured.

I would suggest that you read this:

sorry to hear of your serious diagnosis, there are several options one of which could be an op if you are otherwise fit.You should have a specialist nurse who can answer your questions and give you more advice on prognosis and outcome. You need full details so you can reach your own decision about treatment or not the choice is yours and yours alone. Macmillan nurses on line can help answer your questions too and they specialise in this kind of diagnosis.I wish you every best wish and luck with the answers you want.

Don't really know any helpful info. But I wanted to wish you well and hope that you make a good recovery!
