Doctors and specialist consultants are wary of handing out steroids like Prednisolone.

However, sometimes ones illness is so brutal that they make an exception and give you both ABs and Preds.

I have an emergency pack at home consisting of both ABs and pred BUT have been told ONLY to use them as symptoms dictate.

I gained a lot of weight with preds and now abide by the rule don`t use unless you need to and only very carefully.
