PLEURAL EFFUSION & Thoracentesis

Can anyone tell me if they have had a small pleural effusion cured by a thoracentesis procedure? Thank you so much!!

my last one was sorted with antibiotics. Was here in the uk.

In 2015 I had a pleural effusion due to a community aquired pneumonia. I had the fluid removed by needle. It wasn't painful. I had IV antibiotics to mop up any infection and there was no more problem.

yes I did. wasnt painful as long as its done on respiratory ward, not just general ward.
