I shall endeavour to post these on a weekly basis as well. They are short and to the point.

Thank you for all the information you get for us, I will certainly follow this as I am taking part in the Zoe Covid Symptom Study app each day so being able to find out how it is all doing is just great.

If you just scroll down after you've completed the daily app you'll see the latest report from Tim Spectre plus other useful information that they have collated.

I am mildly conflicted regarding this statement. In my local area all the surrounding boroughs numbers are going in one direction and that is up. Yes the R number in most places is below 1 but will soon be above that. My brother lives in an area which as been in restriction since March and laughed when he saw this. I hope Tim is right but the evidence from the official local figures point in another direction in my area.

I think there will always be exceptions to any generalisation, in my area infections are very high and a few days ago they were doubling each week. Thankfully the growth is now tempering.

Let's hope they continue to go down.

It's great to see Zoe's graph for Cheshire East covid infections dropping significantly from 4002 per day on 30/10 to 2742 yesterday, 5/11, and down by 1132 on the 4th, the day before. Hoping to see this drop in real terms shortly, as the Professor says.
