Just received a sputum pot which I was expecting after last appointment with resp nurse but on clinical details she has put Emphysema ,Bronchiectasis which the latter has never been mentioned to me.has anyone got any ideas regarding this thanks in advance .Sue x

Did you have a CT scan to diagnose Bronchiectasis? If not, the nurse shou;ldn't have assumed that you have it. I don't know anything about Emphysima so can#t really say anything about that. I'm just confused about why you were given a diagnosis for Bronchiectasis
