I tried that pill but it caused projectile vomiting. I react strangely to a few medicines.

Oh dear! The mere mention of Montelukast sends a shiver down my spine! A consultant gave them to me around a year ago - side effects list as long as my arm … and I think there was only one side effect I didn't get!! Must work for some - just not for me.

Carbocisteine on the other hand, keep taking them and no problems at all!

Montelukast also works for me; I have had no issues at all with it. 10mg a night; its no cure but it’s helping.

Thanks guys I’ll give them a go I have nothing too lose I’m already taking anti sickness and anti acid my body is messed up copd has kinda keeled me over I keep getting pneumonia because of copd

Carbocisteine to me meant projectile vomiting making me afraid to go out just in case it happened then. I hated it and refused to take it.
