Are your ankles swollen/belly? Are you containing too much water? I am on water pills because I will fill up with water. Have you ever had that problem before? Janet127

Hello Mellypad .

I've never experienced that. If it is fluid retention as Janet has mentioned, then it is probably best to get the opinion of a medical professional. It must be very uncomfortable for you. I hope it gets sorted very soon.

Best wishes,

Cas xx 🌸

Ankles and belly swollen on a permanent basis and not just in the warm weather. I remember being at a social event and if I had had a pair of scissors to hand, I would have cut myself out of my top as well as my bra.

I have just started water pills so hopefully they will help the situation.

Best see your GP.

Yes, I get more puffy with the humid hot weather, and it's harder to walk about outside. I have some water retention and I'm on tablets to help. Try a lower salt diet, unless you are sweating a lot - then you would need the salt to help you sweat.

Thanks for the responses. It's more my top area and belly. Tops that fitted last week are not fitting today. Very uncomfortable around the bra area especially, and very sore around back of my lungs. . Will mention it to my gp on next visit.

Hi Corriena, suffering in silence. My specialist doesnt seem to understand my struggles. Had a awful winter, very sick all the time. Then said he would send me for bronscopy and review, but can't his mind about the review. Might visit my gp Friday, otherwise my next appointment with specialist is August. He won't add on or change my medication even though I'm still struggling. Totally fed up at this stage.

Go and see your gp hopefully they will be more understanding. You could ask to change your specialist. Well you never know you might be lucky. Keep badgering them untill you feel you have answers. Good luck
