Hi guys
I’m posting under the umbrella of BLF as I’ve lost the original posted question from a member about using a fitbit charge to record revolutions/distance on a static bike.
Anywho without further ado, please see the answer from ‘Fitbit’ themselves:-

Hi Simon,
Thank you for getting back to us.
We'd like to share with you that Fitbit Charge 2 won't detect or record the revolutions done while doing indoor biking. Alternatively, you can still use the Spinning option to better calculate the calories burned with this activity. To do so, you may refer to this help article: How do I customize the exercises on my Fitbit device?
In line with this, you may also check the Charge 2 product manual to get familiar with its features.
We hope the information above helps. Should you have any further questions, reach back to us.
Sincerely,
Janelle A. and the Fitbit Team
