That's a very beautiful tribute cosykitty . xx 🌹
MY mother died last June and not a day goes by that I do not think of her. Your words are a nice tribute to lost close ones and I hope that I can come up with something that matches you.
I'm so sorry Andy. xx
In the end it was a blessing as she had a lot of problems medically but the one that killed her (liver cancer) was only found 5 days before she died the day before her 80th Birthday. I was at her bed side when she passed, it was the hardest thing I have ever done. It is also the only secret I have ever kept from my father who has his own problems not least dementia and is in a nursing home with 24 hour nursing care, the family have not been able to tell him.
I know. I was with my dad. A long term diabetic. In the end it was slow and painful. Renal failure. He was 59. Part of me went with him, or maybe part of him stayed with me.
It's probably kinder that your dad doesn't know. Although I can only imagine how it must play on your mind. With demetia it's best to keep things simple. I learnt that when caring for my mother in law in her remaining years before she went into care.
We can only do our best. 🌹
Such beautiful words cosykitty. A fine tribute to your wonderful mother. Xxx 💐😘
My heart goes out to you. I'm so sorry.
