There is no cure that I am currently aware of but there are treatments. The BLF have lots of information about pulmonary fibrosis. Check out some of it here:

I agree with mrsmummy there is currently no cure for PF. There are treatments though which can help mitigate the effects of it such as meds and counselling.

Keeping it under control rather than a cure I am sure is the way forward. PMA is a good way forward.

Thre are several hundred causes of pulmonary fibrosis - some of bad (difficult to treat and progress quickly) and some are not so bad (can be treated and progress slowly). Could you let us know more details of you diagnosis (terms like idiopathic, sarcoidosisis, non-specific, hypersensitivity, UIP, honeycombing etc may have been used). Also extent of disease would be useful - have you had lung function tests (blow into tubes while sitting in a clear box about the size off a shower) or had something called a HRCT scan (fancy x-ray)?.

There are people on here with each type of disease that causes pulmonary fibrosis and they can give you more help but need to know know what diseases you have first.

There is no cure but there are various treatments. Depending on age & availability however you may find you could get a lung transplant go see your GP.. In the meantime exercise and eat properly.
