I have had very severe dizziness over the last 10 days ,

Is that common with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis?

I would not think its a common problem specific to IPF.

Really could be a number of things so contact your GP. Thing that can dizziness that you could test yourself would be blood pressure, if you have BP monitor, or low O2 levels, if you have a pulse oximeter.

If you are on Esbriet then some people report dizziness to varying extents as a side effect.

I was prescribed 40mg of furosemide (frusemide) "water tablet" and after 2 days I became very dizzy on waking up. I stopped taking them. I was then put on 20mg and all is OK.

I think the bottom line is that there are several diverse things that can cause dizziness and you would need to consult your doctor.
