Breathing problems

Morning I've woken up struggling to breathe, my nose a little bunged up (making me snore at night) and have stuff in my throat. Also, both lungs are painful with a constant pain under right breast going around my back and under arm. Any suggestions what to do please?

Morning Gillian....is your breathing any better now, have you taken your rescue inhaler to see if that helps.

I you are still unwell, and if you live in the UK, can you ring 111 for advice.

Best wishes

Afternoon, we've just got back from our local hospital as you know 111 always send an ambulance out. Breathing got a little better, pains got worse. Had a nebuliser at home by the response paramedic, aspirin and paracetamol, then when the ambulance came out I had gas and air. Had lots of blood tests and an X-ray didn't find anything. So, as always conclusion is musculoskeletal.

Hi Gillian again, I hope your breathing is better today.....are you going to make an appointment with your GP .

The blood tests didn't show any infection then ?

Take care

Hi it's not too bad thank you. Had a bit of gasping. Still have the pains. The only thing the blood tests showed was that something was low and wasn't working properly to fight. Didn't really tell me which result, but it was a clear fluid I had to have by a drip.
