My mom needs help

She inhaled a pea and 4 days later, everytime she exhales she feels like there a balloon blowing up in her left lung. Not trying to be funny. Im serious.

Hi she needs to see a doctor. It might have lodged in her lung. x

Hi, I agree with Cough, see a DR. I went to a talk given by a retired lung Doctor and he said peas were sometimes found in lungs. x

I have had this happen. Twice with a garden pea and one with a sweetcorn kernel. I hurt most when the obstruction was mid way down my chest. I used a couple of extra puffs on my salbutamol to dilate my airways and did extra huffing exercises.

This alone fixed the second pea and I was able to cough it out.

The first pea must have gone lower or maybe was smaller but I had to use a couple of extra saline nebulisers.

Stay calm. Hopefully because she knows about it , it should be easy to remedy.
