Hello Kapre, So sorry I missed your post about your nephews death & your feelings of loss & guilt. I have just read the post now. Feeling guilty is a part of greaving the loss of someone we love. Sometimes it is called survivor guilt. While you and others that love him lived, he lives on through your feelings, words & thoughts. I understand a little of what you say because both my mum & I had copd. Three years ago I had lung cancer and survived; as I was recovering mum was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer .it is different because mum was 92, so of an age when death may be expected. Your nephew was younger and this feels against a natural order. It is good he had you to love him & remember him. Take care Margaret x
