He is not a handful unless we let him be....I was a dog trainer in a healthier life...we rescued him when he was about 8 months and re-trained him. He is lovely! x

I'm shamed to say our old border collie ruled the roost ! We still miss him, he died when he was 18, Robbie is lucky to have you x x x

You did it!! He is gorgeous, he really is, and thank you for posting it. I sooo love border collies, and I had two of them and then a border/bearded cross and they are so intelligent. They also need a lot of exercise, but glad you have him as company. I could just cuddle him.

Sorry, I have just seen his photo just now, or I would have replied earlier. He just reminds me of mine, and would love to have another, but it is not to be.

Robbie is a rescue from our local dog rescue. We have been so lucky with him! He is our fourth Border. We might get another when we go home to UK in spring. Robbie could do with a playmate!

Hi Lolly,

Once you have had a border collie, it is difficult to imagine having another breed, but on saying that I really do love all dogs, and a companion would be good too. I always seemed to have two at a time, although it was never really planned that way, it just seemed to happen.

So you are coming back here in the spring, so is that for good, or just for the hopefully better weather?

Thanks again for the photo, I must try and post photos of mine, but they are not digital, and my ex has most of them, so I will get him to send some more to me.
