Hi Bill,

Didn't they play or sing it then? Maybe they went for Scotland the Brave. Glad you liked it Bill, I love the bagpipes but a lot of people don't. If you like the pipes, you would probably like Mull of Kintyre ( Paul McCartney) which has the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards playing. You can find it on youtube, with or without Paul McCartney.

We won Tony! Yeah!! Love the photo. How many years ago? I remember the old Wembley too when Pete and I went to a Speedway meeting. Those were the days. xxxxx

Yeh' we played well and deserved the win didn't we. The photo of me and my brother was taken when we played Brazil in 1995, we were 1-0 up at half time thanks to a brilliant goal from Le Saux. youtu.be/L33C7uDbtCo That's when the 18 year old Ronaldo show started so we lost 1-3. :( .

Those were the days eh' when my lungs were firing at 100% and everything was possible. :) xxxx

First, the Referendum and now the football, the flower of Scotland is wilting badly. Best England performance for a long while. We were certainly up for this one. Best of luck to Scotland for the rest of the Euro qualifiers. Never mind Huggs, you've still got Andy Murray.

Good performance wasn't it, lets hope we can keep this going for the Euro's now. How are the Stags going this season?

Not much better than Hereford I'm afraid. Since selling Green to Brum we can't score and the football is awful. Sold Clucas who was our best player to our bitter rivals the crooked Spireites, basically because he was too skilful and wanted to pass it on the floor; our manager only plays hoofball and we're in a right mess. Went up to Shrewsbury last Saturday and we lost 2-0 but it could have been 6. We were lucky to get nil. Don't know if you've been to the new Wembley but once was enough for me. I paid extra in advance to secure blue badge parking and was just about as far away from my desired destination as was physically possible. Nearly died getting to my seat and had to wait for my mate to fetch the car to where we were seated on the return. Took us over 2 hours to move 3 miles from the ground and to top it all, the hot dogs were £6 and a pint £7 for gassy dishwater. Should have been built at the NEC where access is brilliant and would have cost a third of the price. The only good thing to come out of London is the M1.

dall05 in reply to jimmyw123

Hey jimmy, you scored a pretty good goal and had us worried for a couple of minutes so put the tissues away, it wasn't all doom and gloom. The Euro qualifiers are what counts so good luck with them, I'll be cheering along for you to make it.

jimmyw123 profile image
jimmyw123 in reply to dall05

only kidding tony :( ,,im not really football mad, but like these games, i think england were the better side, and deserved the win, i like the second goal/ header by rooney, but still a good game to watch,, as you say the Euro qualifiers is the one that counts,, welle just wait and see,, all the very best tony,, jimmy :)
