Yes Yvette 1979, its visiting several towns on it's tour. It is coming to my town too so I expect the great grandchildren will be going to see it with great joy. Think it's the Asda store on the outskirts of town next month.

Enjoy when you get the chance, we are all big kids at heart. I've just wrapped the last Christmas present for the kiddies and in a week or so I am off on a turkey and tinsel holiday to start the Christmas season off. This week end I am going to the theatre to see a Christmas musical. Miracle on 34th street.

DRAT. I read that they were coming near me last week. Now your post has reminded me that I forgot to keep the date. Google hunt.......

coca-cola.co.uk/about-us/he...

Now you can see the Coca Cola road train and sing "the holidays are coming" too

Happiness!...x

Whoop it's in the Bullring shopping centre Birmingham on the 11th dec, that's the closest to Tamworth for me. In the last few days it has started to feel like Xmas, my kids are nagging to put the tree up, I always do it on the 1st dec so not long now, bought my first Xmas prezzie yesterday think I need to get cracking lol. Not with you on this. In fact if I had the puff I'd firebomb it when it comes here (Bristol). Rotgut sweet acid drink, environmentally a disaster, treats its workers like s***, mega multinational and a major FIFA sponsor. Urgh...Think of it as an alternative view.

I'm with you on this, notlocal!

I hate the drink too. I just love the huge truck and the fact that They were the first people to design Mr S Claus as we know him and colour him red. Then the music too. It announces Xmas to millions of kids.

I live in the States and had no idea what you were talking about (I've never heard of a Christmas Coca Cola truck...), so I looked it up and sure 'nuff....:

I guess the closest thing I'd have to compare it to would be when the Budweiser horses came around on a tour when I was a kid years ago....

We have loads of horse drawn brewery wagons but huge Mack truck don't drive up and down our streets. So it is magic.

I love putting the tree up I brought one from America it was 7 feet tall smelt of pine and was fantastic until my daughter brought 2 kittens home they ran up it around it and down it after two weeks it looked like a loo brush, I had this tree for 10 years we took it down and my daughter took it to the tip.

I think its 12 days before and you should take it down 12 days after Christmas I don't have the 7 foot tree anymore after the cats wrecked it but I did buy a nice 6 foot pre lit one from the garden centre in the sale it was a £100.00 but very nice I have a lot of tree decorations I brought from America I will try and put a picture on hear when I have my tree up, I used to have a train around the tree but the cats had that as well my daughter was in fits of laughter

Now now children, calm yourselves down or you will all be sent to your rooms. My silly wife was dancing round the room when the advert came on for the first time this year. "It's Christmas" she cried. "Bah, humbug" says I.
