my left lung makes huge cracking noise when trying to cough up sputem does any one else have this problem

I used to when I was 1st diagnosed. I haven't had it for years now.

Evening I use to get the crackeling but not know more ask you nurse or doctor to send you to breathing physio they are great everybody with copd should see one they show you how to stop the crackeling by showing you by breathing in away you can bring everything up in one go its realy realy good

I had this when first diagnosed and GP heard it with stethoscope. A sputum sample confirmed a chest infection. ( This had probably been long standing ). Quitting smoking and a course of antibiotics stopped the crackle , the persistent cough and the production of excessive phlegm . I still have copd.... but touch wood !! I am fairly symptom free at present.
