Hi I have not had this but a friend of mine has. She had half a lung removed due to pneumonia scarring. She was in hospital for about a week and the recovery time was around 6 weeks. Until then she felt sore and weak. She has been left with a big scar but it is fading nicely nown (she had it done last year). Now she says she feels better than ever and can run up hills and walk miles without being out of breath. She was 37 at the time. Good luck with it. x
