You will need to ask your doctor, respiratory nurse, physio or consultant. They have all your medical records which include tests and results. Someone should have told you by now as I imagine you will be on medication of some sort, such as inhalers etc. I have had a quick look at your other questions and they really need answered by a medical professional. You have said the doctors don't tell you anything or they can't help you. Well, do not accept that. Insist on knowing what you want to know, but if you don't want to go to your doctor maybe contacting the BLF nurses will help you. Hmm, Does Emphysema have to be at ANY STAGE ? - and who actually decides what "Stage" or "Status" you have arrived at at any point in time ? - AS WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT ANYWAY, , and more worrying, if you have been told that you have arrived at a certain Stage" - is'nt this going to increase more Stress as these"Stages" are arrived at one by one ! - I only go by how I feel at ANY TIME - - thats really all I want to know, because if one is not careful, we will be told we have arrived" at a certain "Stage" ( which, lets face it, is probably a matter of opinion at best and the the mind will "Act" on this information and probably make us feel worse!! - this is where "Ignorance is bliss" - Oh, by the way, a pal of mine was told he was at "The end "STAGE" of Cancer" - that was 15 YEARS AGO !! - and he's got more energy that I have now - -Good Luck ! ..
