hi I don't know but the first blog on here is 14th April 2012, but from what I read of those early blogs it moved here from a different one.
hope you well this morning. And would be interesting to know the answer to this question.

Hi Anna.
Yea, I have a feeling this is a site I joined quite a long time ago, the person who kept his eye on things was called Casper, how can you see the blogs from April 2012 please?
click on the blogs tab - scroll down to the bottom of the list and click on the last number - I think it is 488. - that will take you to the last page of blogs that have been saved. They make some interesting reading. Have fun.
Hi
The BLF web community was migrated here from our previous forum in April 2012 as mentioned above. Here are some key stats since then to let you know what a great place this has become.
- We have 3612 members
- Since we went live the site has been visited almost half a million times
- The average time spent on the site per visit is over half an hour!
- 12,000 blogs are visited a day
It just goes to show how much the web community can help people learn and encourage them to chat with people who have similar experiences.
There were two previous sites - the BLF had a forum running through their site but there was also the NHS Choices one, which is where I was before this one started. There were gaps between the old sites closing and the new ones starting, so some people who were on the old sites may still not know this one exists.
As noted, this part of the Health Unlocked site started around Easter last year and there's been a rapid uptake with over three and a half thousand people taking 'membership', not to mention the thousands more who have browsed the site but not joined.
Hi Gordon.
This site is much better than the previous one I joined, that was approx 4 to 5 years ago, it tended to be all doom and gloom.
The mix on this site makes it interesting and informative.
Much more light hearted, I love the interaction of most of the bloggs.
If I don't like what I see then I move on to another blogg, no problem.
Thanks for answering
Peta
I'll second that!!!
Thank you for all this info.I am one of those originally a BLF forum member. But Have noticed how much more popular the site is since the changes in April 2012 and covers far more topics that impact on daily life when you have a chronic medical condition therefore suggesting the need for this site and some of the content of light heartedness and banter and anyone can move on if they don't like what is being said. You can't please all of the people all of the time I think is the saying.
I'll second that
