yes snoring can stop breathing also being tired during the day and feeling exhausted when you wake up as it disturbs your deep sleep , ( so i've been told ) . If you think you may have sleep apnoea please ask to be tested . I used to wake up in the night after dreaming that i had been strangled or suffocated most nights and didn't associate it with sleep apnoea and waited years being exhausted and nodding off during the day . I first had a CPAP and now i have a BIPAP and i get a brilliant mostly full nights sleep and i have never had the bad dreams since ( obviously caused by the apnoea ) . They found during the test that my sats were dropping to low 60's which is a bit scarey . So please get tested soon xxxx

What does CPAP an BIPAP mean?

They are machines that come with a mask, to push air or oxygen through your body

I wake up all through the night I never get a full nights sleep only about 4 hours a night I am always up by 4 am although I am awake much earlier. Sometimes I am awake most of the night .And it seems the worse my breathing the less I sleep I will have a word with my doctor .hope the sun is shinning and you have a good day

As mentioned, snoring and excessive tiredness through the day, tired all the time even on waking, 'out like a light' is an apt expression. Good to have a word with your doctor about this problem. There is a tick box questionnaire you can do, BLF main site used to have it on-line may still have.... here is a search about it:

take care.
