Sunrise on Kos..

This was taken at 5.30 in the morning. I was snapping away in my rather short nightie standing in the middle of the road, turned around and found that there had been 3 old Greek men sitting there the whole time...*blushes*

Absolutely astounding photo! I'm hoping to get out and about with my camera this summer but I doubt I'll get anything to compare with your photographs. Take care, and keep clicking away, Richard.

Hi Anitzan

You probably made the day for those three Greek gentlemen.

I have never been to Greece, would love to go, but am afraid because of whatever is wrong with me (I've been told that I probably have COPD but it is yet to be confirmed).

Greece looks such a beautiful place. I wish ...................

Love and hugs

I will post more photos you can be there without the hassle of the airport!

Anitzan

I love the hassle of the airport. I'm one of those people who, when going on holiday, is in 'holiday mode' as soon as I am out of the driveway.

Peter, my husband, was in the Fleet Air Arm (RN) with a friend who left the Navy early and went to work for Jersey European (Flybe now) at Exeter Airport (he's retired now).

Flying from Exeter was great - we got special treatment!!!! Even when I was flying by myself to see my family in Edinburgh my car was taken away and parked, I was looked after until I got on the plane and was met and looked after when I flew back.

I love the 'Duty Free' and airport food and everything that goes with holidays.

Unfortunately I haven't flown out of the UK for some time. My holidays in the past couple of years have been in Eire, Scotland or England - I have enjoyed them but there is no 'Duty Free'.

I'll look forward to seeing your pics of Kos.

Lots of love and hugs
