Allergic With COPD
Interesting article, hubby was diagnosed about 5 years ago now with asbestosis and copd, two years he developed allergic rhinitis together with an anaphalytic reaction when he had an infection. We had various tests and tried all the pills and potions from the doctors but they couldn't work out what suddenly caused it, an off the cuff remark to our physio and she suggested it could be food related. Paid for intolerance testing and it came back as dairy and pineapple. Touch wood since keeping off these he has not had an attack and his rhinitis seems to have disappeared.
Another reason we are all different with the same lung condition with Asthma been given as the reason why. Allergy testing when triggers for allergy change with meds is an interesting future for research.
