Got to Love Lemmy, a real Brit eccentric, I used to see him on the circuit with Hawkwind and Moterhead in days of yore :)

Likewise toonamp. Windsor free festival I remember well. I saw them at a gig in London once. People kept walking past me saying " Hi Dave ". I said hi back and asked my mates who these people were and how did they know me. My mates said I was the spitting image of Dave Brock and mistook me for him ! :)

How many of you are Googling Dave Brock ? Yeah I know. I'm not the handsomest of blokes but my hearts in the right place !

I look like Iggy Pop nowadays. I got mistook for him at a gig in London I went to 2 years ago ! :D

Cherry Red used to get bands to the winter gardens in Malvern. Motorhead were one of the most memorable. No kidding my ears were ringing for a week afterwards it was so incredably loud. Malvern Rocked on that night thats for sure.

Still listen to Bomber and Kiilled by Death even now, full volume and sod the neighbours eh'

Hawkwind and thier Silver Machine were another band who also went down well in Malvern.

Rock On Toonamp!!! Great Memories.

Good to see we're still rocking after all these years, One memorable concert I saw in London, in days of yore, had Hawkwind on the same bill as Arthur Lees Love. at the time of the "Forever Changes Album"

I saw Hawkwind when I was 21 at the Cliffs pavillion in Southend when I was 21 - and I saw Motorhead at the same venue about 3 and half years ago - Brilliant bands and fantastic nights :)

I'm mightily impressed and more than a tad pleased to see so many responses.

It was a special era, so much innovation, and some incredible bands on the circuits :)
