Has your child been seen by paediatrician dealing with allergies? The best thing is to know what potential allergens are so that they can be avoided.

Sleep helps. You are understandably very worried about your child’s asthma, so you need to spend some time with your GP, asthma nurse or consultant, or the nurse at AsthmaUK. You can get lots of advice and reassurance here, but sometimes talking to a qualified person face to face is better.
