Breo Ellipta 200/25 twice a day?

My new asthma action plan calls for me to take one puff of Breo twice a day if my symptoms bump the asthma plan level up.

I haven’t found anything about someone taking two doses of Breo. The Breo instructions say to only take it once a day. I’m going to call the doctor and check tomorrow, but I was wondering if anyone here is on breo and has taken 2 doses. Did you have any reactions from a double dose? Side effects?

I am coughing a lot and my breathing is worse, so I do need to see about the next level of my asthma plan. Thank you for any help! I know I am a worrier. I take a lot of meds and I don’t want any weird reactions or mistakes, if possible.

I got ahold of one of the nurses at my new asthma doctor’s office. We ended up changing level 2 of my asthma plan (yellow zone). Instead of increasing the Breo 200 to twice a day, I am to start taking Qvar 4 puffs a day for 2weeks and continue albuterol as needed. Also asked about Xyzal 1/2 tab and add nasacort if needed for allergies.

It’s nice to have a doctor’s office answer my questions and take my concerns seriously.
