Chamomile tea

Hi all,

Heard some mixed things about chamomile tea, good for relaxing etc and some things about helping the airwaves.

A quick google search says it’s not recommended for ashmatics? Anyone use it regularly? Keen to try just more from a relaxation POV more than anything else.

Thanks

I don’t drink it often but do have a few “sleepy” teas that have chamomile in :)

I’ve not personally found that it causes me any issues with asthma (if anything it does probably help me sleep better as it’s quite relaxing - whether that’s because of the chamomile or just because my brain thinks it will help I don’t know!)

I guess maybe the best way to go about it is to try a small amount first and keep a close eye to see if it causes any problems?

I drink chamomile tea, I find it soothing, I don't think it affects my chest.

Peppermint tea is lovely but it gives me acid reflux.

Why don't you just try a cup of chamomile, they're not expensive if you decide they do affect you.

Take care x

I have read that chamomile has muscle relaxing properties and I drink it sometimes. I've also used teas and syrup with tulsi as I've read that herb helps with lung issues. I found it really helpful but then I read somewhere that it might disrupt the effectiveness of inhaled corticosteriods. It can be so hard to navigate all the stuff you read.
