Breo autoimmune reaction

Has anyone who has used or is using Breo for asthma had an adverse reaction? I had a reaction that mimicked rheumatoid arthritis which has gradually, over the course of one year without the medication, almost completely resolved. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone else who may have suffered an adverse reaction. The medication is amazing for asthma but not so great if you have a sensitivity. Thanks!

Hello Radz

I was given Breo Ellipta back in mid 2015 and I wish I had never heard of it. I was on it for 18mths before I put 2 and 2 together and realised what it was doing to me. If you google for reviews you will find out many others have experienced these side effects. Since coming off it I firmly believe my asthma was way worse. I am now dealing with chronic bronchitis as well and blame this entirely on Breo. It is on the list of side effects I found when I googled. I agree it works BUT it is way too big a price to pay.

By the end I was having the most dreadful cramps/spasms across my lower back and legs, I had lost my sense of taste, really bad sinus, silly nervous type cough that I couldn't control and palpitations. Within days of coming off it these all started going one by one and 2 weeks later I was free of most of them but have been left with the bronchitis to deal with. Grrrrrrr! It has also left me with an ongoing raised blood pressure and so have had to have BP meds increased.

One word sums it up EVIL!!!

One foot note I have found taking Vitamin B5 has helped my asthma tremendously. If I could just find a supplement to get rid of the bronchitis I'd be really stoked :)
