Could anyone tell me whether it is true Symbicort is for severe asthma sufferers or is it can also be used for mild asthma sufferers?

Hi I think the best answer is to phone the helpline. Sorry I cannot help but I am on different drugs

I think that's broadly true yes.

In my case I was moved onto it from Seretide because the consultant view was that it reduced my susceptibility to infection which was causing me severe symptoms. I suppose though you can't assume every doctor will always make identical judgements.
